Meet Pete Boudreau

Candidate for State Representative

I was born and raised in Manchester, NH, where I attended public schools, and have proudly called Auburn my home since 1994. My wife, Elise, a dedicated social worker in a community clinic, and I have built our life here while raising our two children, both graduates of NH public schools. 

I started my career as a Master Plumber and started a successful plumbing business with my brother. As a small business owner, I learned the value of hard work, personal responsibility, and the challenges facing working families.

My lifelong dream was to serve in the fire service. After volunteering with the Auburn Volunteer Fire Department, I was hired by the Manchester Fire Department as a full-time firefighter in 1995 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2004.  Throughout my career, I continued my education, completed extensive leadership training, and remained committed to serving others. In 2000, I was honored to receive the New Hampshire Medal of Valor for saving a citizen's life, an award that reminds me that service is about helping people when they need it most.

Giving back has always been a priority. I have volunteered with organizations including the Salvation Army Kids Cafe and Central Little League and helped establish the Manchester Fire Explorer Program, which I later revived as the Manchester Fire Cadet Program to mentor and inspire the next generation of public servants. 

For more than 30 years, public service has been the foundation of my life. Today, I’m seeking to continue that service in the NH House of Representatives, fighting for lower property taxes, strong public education, affordable housing, safe communities, individual freedoms and accountable government.

It would be an honor to continue serving the people of Auburn, Candia, Chester, and Deerfield as your State Representative.
